The immersive outdoor art festival, i Light Singapore (iLSG), is back for its 10th edition, running from May 31 to June 23. Organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), this year’s festival is set to be a captivating experience with 17 unique artworks by 25 international and local artists.
Expanding Beyond Marina Bay
For the first time, i Light Singapore will extend beyond its traditional Marina Bay location to South Beach, Millenia Walk, and Tanjong Pagar, in partnership with Discover Tanjong Pagar. This expansion allows visitors to explore a broader area and discover a variety of stunning installations.
A Focus on Cyclical Nature and Sustainability
The theme for this year’s iLSG festival is “Cyclical Nature,” with a focus on the colour green. The 25 artists will showcase their creativity through artworks that explore the potential of everyday objects for re-design, restoration, and repurposing. The installations aim to inspire visitors to consider sustainability and the environment through art.
Free Admission and Various Programs
While admission to i Light Singapore is free, certain programs may have associated charges. Visitors are encouraged to check the festival’s website for more information on these programs and the event schedule. The festival is open to all, providing a unique opportunity to experience art in an outdoor setting.
