Singaporeans in Lebanon Advised to Leave Immediately Amid Volatile Situation
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has advised Singaporeans in Lebanon to leave the country immediately, using commercial travel options, due to the escalating and volatile situation in the region. In an updated travel advisory issued on September 28, the MFA also urged Singaporeans to defer all travel to Lebanon.
Travel to Southern Beirut and Lebanon-Israel Border Discouraged
The advisory specifically warned against travel to southern Beirut and southern Lebanon, including the Lebanon-Israel border areas, citing heightened security risks. Singaporeans who choose to remain in Lebanon have been urged to remain vigilant, monitor local developments closely, and follow the guidance of the Lebanese government.
Avoid Protests and Large Gatherings
