Singaporean Olympic medallist Max Maeder has claimed victory at the 2024 Formula Kite Asian Championships, held in Baishan, China, on Sunday, September 22. This is Maeder’s second major title since his bronze medal win at the Paris Olympics.
Dominant Performance in Challenging Conditions
Despite a typhoon cutting the competition short, Maeder showcased his skill by winning eight out of the 12 races in the opening series. His consistent performance secured him the championship title ahead of China’s Haoran Zhang, who took second place, and Jiangang Wu, who finished third.
