Singaporeans and visitors will soon have a new spot for water sports with the opening of the Passion Wave Outpost at Bayfront in 2025. This facility, set against the stunning Marina Bay waterfront, will be the first water sports satellite center in the vicinity, offering popular activities such as kayaking, pedal boating, and dragon boating.
The new outpost aims to bring water recreational activities closer to the heart of the city, enhancing access to affordable outdoor experiences for both residents and professionals working in the nearby business district. It will add to the existing network of six Passion Wave facilities across Singapore, known for their emphasis on community engagement and promoting active lifestyles.
The initiative, developed by the People’s Association (PA), aligns with their vision of transforming Marina Bay into a “People’s Bay.” It is designed to foster community bonding while providing direct access to water sports for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. The Bayfront outpost will be a dynamic space for those looking to engage in active, healthy living right in the heart of Singapore.
In the lead-up to its launch, PA Passion Wave is hosting events such as an Amazing Race featuring orienteering and dragon boating to offer a preview of what’s to come(
This new development is part of Singapore’s continuous effort to enhance the vibrancy of its waterfront areas and provide recreational opportunities that cater to a wide audience.
